Product Overview

Beta vulgaris

Grow this beet, and you're golden! Golden-orange roots are firm, earthy, and sweet. Beet greens are also superb. Harvest when young. Recipe inside packet.

Deliciously mild beet that doesn't stain like reds! 'Golden Boy' is a stunning, golden-orange fleshed beet with bright green leaves, uniform globes, and refined taproots. Strong, upright stems make for an attractive bunch. Sweetest and most tender when young. Greens are also tender and delicious.

Variety Info

Bright golden color, uniform, globe-shaped beets up to 3" in diameter.

Sowing Inside

Not recommended. Root disturbance delays maturity.
