Planting & Growing
When planting in drifts in the lawn wait at least 6 weeks after flowers bloom to mow the lawn. This is one of the few flower bulbs that does well under walnut trees.Plant bulbs under and around trees. The bulbs bloom before the trees leaf out so they have plenty of sun while actively growing. It is best to plant flower bulbs in large groups or drifts to create a natural effect; for a more formal effect plant flower bulbs in circles or squares.
