Product Overview

Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Tasman Ruffles'
One of the best and hardiest selections of the New Zealand native species, this evergreen shrub has clean green foliage with creamy white margins, and a dense, conical frame. A candidate for one of the most distinctive, handsome, tidy and low maintenance hedging plants in a contemporary garden setting.

Planting & Growing

Provide average, well-drained soil. Water deeply, regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Once established, reduce frequency; tolerates moderate drought. Apply a slow-release fertilizer before new growth begins in spring. For a more formal appearance, periodically prune lightly to shape.
