Product Overview

Euphorbia pulcherrima 'Red'
A traditional bright red poinsettia with large bracts. Armstrong Grown poinsettias last and last and last always looking fresh and stunning all the way through the New Year. We grow our own to ensure the highest quality.

Poinsettias are a multi-stemmed plant with an upright spreading habit of growth.

This is a relatively low maintenance plant, and should only be pruned after flowering to avoid removing any of the current season's flowers. Deer don't particularly care for this plant and will usually leave it alone in favor of tastier treats. It has no significant negative characteristics.

Poinsettia is recommended for the following landscape applications:
  • Accent
  • Mass Planting
  • Hedges/Screening
  • General Garden Use
  • Container Planting
  • Baskets

Features

Poinsettias feature showy clusters of color with green foliage typically used during winter holidays.

Growing

Place poinsettias in bright, indirect to medium light away from heat vents or breezes. Poinsettias prefer temps between 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit. Water your poinsettia when the soil feels dry to the touch. Avoid overwatering and do not let container sit in water.
