Product Overview

Rhaphiolepis umbellata 'RutRhaph1' PP #20,730
An exceptional, improved compact selection with proven strong disease resistance combined with a dense, mounding habit. In spring, a profusion of white flowers covers the shrub just prior to the new flush of foliage. Leaves are glossy, deep green with wavy margins. Excellent for foundation plantings. Evergreen.

Planting & Growing

Grows easily in average, well-drained soils. Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Once established, reduce frequency; tolerates moderate drought. Apply fertilizer before new growth begins in spring. For a formal appearance, prune annually after flowering.
