Product Overview

Strelitzia reginae
Highly valued for its large, exotic, colorful blooms in a bold blend of orange, blue, and white. Lends a tropical look to any landscape. A long-lasting flower for cut arrangements. Crowns of long stalks with large grey-green leaves provide year-round interest. Very useful as a specimen planting, especially on a patio or near a pool. Evergreen.

Planting & Growing

Thrives in rich loamy soils, but highly adaptable to many soil types. Water deeply, regularly during first few growing seasons to establish root system. Once established, reduce frequency; tolerates moderate drought but looks best with regular water. Fertilize in spring before new growth emerges.
