The $549 cost for this service covers four-hours of our expert designer’s time and covers either a front or backyard area up to 2,500 sqft. Total designer time will be four hours, which includes: initial home visit, off-site drawing time of the black-and-white hand-drawn planting diagram, plant list and estimate as well as a post install follow-up. If more than four hours is needed our designer will let you know and extra hours can be purchased at the rate of $75 per hour.

Make your design a reality. A $549 landscape design rebate will be credited to your Armstrong Garden Centers invoice when you purchase plants and materials with a minimum purchase of $3,500, not including installation charges, if applicable.

To get an incredible yard you must do this...
5My wife and I live in Burbank and decided with the worsening drought that it was time to remove our grass and replace it with drought-tolerant, native plants.
We went to Armstrong and worked with Caitlin Girkins. She created an awesome landscape design for us with incredible plants that were arranged perfectly! We now have an amazing California garden that will only grow more beautiful with time.
I highly recommend working with her - especially if you’re like us and don’t know the first thing about landscape design or horticulture. Trust me, expertise matters and this is money well spent. It's going to pay for itself in water savings.

Caitlin Girkins is an awesome designer!

Redo of my Front Lawn
5Sam created an excellent design for our yard and helped us to understand the process of demo and installation. She had so many great ideas and a broad knowledge of plants and how they can flourish. The installation by Greenway went better than we expected, completed in 3 days! Now we have a no-maintenance, low-water front yard. Thank you Sam!

5Karen made the experience wonderful! I'm glad we hired a professional such as Karen, knowledgeable on what drought tolerant plants would fit and bloom well in all 4 seasons. She had an awesome design, that included some boulders, along with the plants. Karen guided me in picking out the perfect boulders at South West Boulders in Fullerton. 5Our landscape design turned out so great. I had researched a lot of plants over the last 6 months, and Karen brought her attention to detail and expertise to the project to make sure everything turned out beautifully. Our yard looks amazing, and Karen deserves so much of the credit. I was impressed with the entire San Juan Capistrano staff, as they were super communicative and friendly during my visits and phone calls. Nobody acted like we were a burden and they were so willing to assist. Thanks again!
