Care

Care & Maintenance

When natural Teak becomes soiled, use a mild detergent or wood cleaner and a soft cloth only. A soft plastic bristle brush helps remove tough stains or mold. Do not use abrasive cleaners or cleaning products. Our teak products are not treated or finished with any stain or sealants.

Solid Teak should be oiled at least 2-3 times per year if in direct sunlight and to maintain a golden teak color to preserve hardwood integrity for years to come. Use name brand teak, tongue, or hardwood oils for outdoor use. If a grey patina is desired, then much less maintenance is required. However, there are products available to protect Teak from stains.

Use a mild detergent, warm water, and cotton rag for dirt and debris. Do not oil Rope and Wickers. Cover all outdoor patio furniture in the offseason and when not in use for extended periods.
