Soap Making

It was AMAZING...so much so that I went to Michael's and bought the 10# box of goats milk soap $49.99 and replicated it at our house for Mother's Day!

The ONLY feedback I have is the combination of logistical layout + soap heating process with the microwave created several bottle necks, where many had to wait for their melted soap, then fight thru the others to find the fragrance you wanted, then try to pour simultaneously in the same mold that someone else was using, etc. The timing element of soap cooling added a sense of urgency where once the soap hit your cup, you had 90 seconds or so to find/add your fragrance, color, and pour...but the supplies scattered which made it difficult to be efficient. We were all patient/cordial and worked it out, but I had to be intentional and find a way to be OK letting the ladies box me and my daughter out , LOL :)

When I did it on Mother's Day I used a crock pot and turkey baster and chose to be the designated soap filler and it worked beautifully. People we're able to grab their own cups, and would tell me which mold they were using (sm, med, or large) and I would fill their smaller cups, and we had a fragrance station and color station and mold station.. We were only 8 total and around our long dinner table, but it worked well.

Anyway, can't thank you guys enough for an AMAZING experience, and I hope some/any of the helps....and we won't hesitate to recommend this activity to everyone we know!
