Care

Planting & Growing
Thrives in average, well-drained soils. Water deeply, regularly in first growing season to establish root system. Once established in the landscape, reduce frequency; continue to water container plants regularly. Fertilize in spring. Remove spent blooms periodically and prune annually to shape.

Ordered from out of town

I had a hard time finding this available anywhere because of the late season. I’m in Northern California and there’s not an Armstrong near me, but there happen to be one near a family member in Camarillo. I ordered online and called the store to confirm. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and sat one at the front desk for pick up. Family member didn’t arrive for a few days, but it was still there and he had no trouble picking it up. When he brought it up to me in Santa Cruz, it was a healthy, full and beautiful specimen… I’ve planted it now and it’s doing well. I had a great experience with Armstrong and my family member said it was a really nice location. I look forward to visiting it someday.
