We worked with Julia Chimento from Armstrong Encinitas and she was terrific. It is great to work with someone who can tell you what plants to use and what plants NOT to use.
The staff was nice and the area is clean. This $10 plant is not to be confused with the edible wasabi japonica as a novice I got it thinking it was, so I had to drive back after further investigating at home that this one could make me sick. I looked closer on the tag and it said in quotes "wasabi" meaning it's not the one I wanted. I went back and they were nice and asked if I wanted the other one ...I bought it even though it was $40. Ouch. Now I know to buy the plants under their technical names.
